In the past two years, my country’s bicycle exports have maintained strong growth. According to customs data, my country exported 69.26 million bicycles last year, a year-on-year increase of 14.9%, and the export value increased by 40.2% year-on-year – an increase of nearly 5.11 billion US dollars.
Although affected by the epidemic, our company is standing at a new starting point for export in 2021, and now our high-end products are sought after and orders are constantly flowing. Our company’s products perform well in sales in developed countries, with 64% of its total exports going to Europe, the United States and Japan.
At present, electric bicycles powered by electric motors and lithium batteries are a major trend in the European bicycle market. Last year, our company established a high-standard lithium battery R&D and testing center and expanded the product line. So far, three series of electric bikes have been developed for mountain biking, urban riding and special functions.
